Today marks an enormous milestone. After 10 years of work, N890GF is an airworthy airplane!

Adam Valdez, from McFarland, came out to do the inspection. On a cold crisp morning, he got started at the tail, and worked his way towards the nose. He immediately found some loose washers that I had to fish out of the tail cone. He was extremely thorough.

All in all, a very short list of minor things needed to be addressed. The most serious of which was a missing safety wire on the starter motor engine attachment bolt (funnily enough this was installed at the factory by the engine manufacturer). The rest of the issues were addressed live while Adam was continuing the inspection.

For anyone looking for a DAR for their own inspection, I highly recommend Adam. He was a pleasure to work with and made the entire process easy. He operates out of the Fresno, CA FSDO, but made the trip out to E16 for my inspection.
