Hello! My name is George. This website is dedicated to documenting my RV-7 build & flying adventures.

I’m an aviator. I’ve been flying things since I was a kid, and I’ve always had a passion for anything that can fly. Studying aerospace engineering in college allowed me to really dive into the details of how airplanes work. I’ve looked forward to putting everything I’ve learned, and the experiences I’ve had building model airplanes, into building the RV-7, and now applying new learnings to flying it.

The Vans Aircraft RV-7 is a high performance sport airplane, capable of over 200 miles per hour, 6Gs and more than 700 miles of range. This is one awesome airplane!

The side by side seating configuration will allow pilot and passenger nearly unobstructed visibility, due to the tip-up bubble canopy.

It’s always been a dream of mine to build my own plane, and after 10 years, that dream is now a reality! Take a look through the build, and come along with me on my flying adventures!
